How to apply For National Family Benefits Scheme / apply for nfbs scheme Odisha / Jatiya Mangal Paribar Kalyan Yojna 2024


Hello everyone, I am Ajit Kumar Sahu, and I welcome you to the new article of Akhadu Sambalpuri. In today's article, I will introduce you to how you can apply for the NFBS (National Family Benefit Scheme).

NFBS Scheme, which is available to family members of BPL beneficiaries below the poverty line if the head of the family dies between 18 and 60 years. If the deceased was the head of the family and he was running the household on his own responsibility, then his family members can apply for this scheme.

To apply for this scheme, first you will go to the ssepd.odisha.gov.in website. Then scroll down the page and click on the Pension Scheme button. Then you will get a box named 'Application for Beneficiary' to fill up the details. Here, you will choose the scheme. In Choose Scheme, you will select 'National Family Benefit Scheme' and click on Proceed at the bottom. After clicking, you will see the online form.



How To Apply For National Family Benefits Scheme

Step-1
First, you must fill out the full details of the applicant. Fill up the applicant's name, DOB, age, gender, Aadhar number, and father/mother name, if not husband/wife name. Then the applicant will upload the Aadhar photo and passport photo.


Step-2

After the applicant details, you have to give the details of the deceased person. Here you have to fill up the deceased person's name, father/mother name or husband/wife name, gender, DOB, address, social category (caste), mobile number, and occupation.  Then you have to give his age, Prof. Here you will upload the deceased person's Aadhar card, voter ID, or any other age Prof. in a PDF file.  Then you click yes in the 'Do you have BPL' box and upload the BPL card by giving the BPL number.
Step-3

In step 3, you will give death-related details. As if: date of death, nature of death, reason of death, place of death, and which family member depended on the deceased; fill up his name and age.Then give the number of the death certificate and upload the certificate.

Step-4

In step 4, you have to provide the bank details of the applicant. Here, you have to fill out the applicant's bank account type, name, account number, IFSC code, bank, and branch name. Then the applicant's bank passbook and signature have to be uploaded as a PDF file.

Finally, you will see the Gote Declaration. You will click on this declaration to check the form once, and then click on Submit Bottom. Then your online form will be successfully completed.
